14 aug: A Pilgrim’s Prayer
A Pilgrim’s Prayer:
O God, who brought your servant Abraham out of the land of the Chaldeans, watching over him in all his wanderings, and guided the Hebrew people as they crossed the desert, we ask you to watch over us as we walk in the love of your name to Santiago de Compostela. Be our companion on the way, our guide at the crossroads, our strength in weariness, our defense in danger, our shelter on the path, our shade in the heat, our light in darkness, our comfort in discouragement, our firmness in our intentions. So that through your guidance, we may arrive safely at the end of our journey, and, enriched with grace and virtue, may return to our homes filled with salutary and lasting joy.
Buen Camino to Julie and Chrissy.

Whoa a slow as can be day. Frankly having to repair cars cause me anxiety. I just know what can go wrong and have the unpredictable expense. Having one and a half cataracts just makes it more of a crime ... and it's been raining on and off! A big whinge there. Hopefully the sun and will shine tomorrow and the parts than can get frozen will come apart with a rap of the hammer. Pigs fly too.
