30 jun: feels like a day when nothing got finished

Kicked off cancelling my shopping cart with an acrylic dome. I baulked at the $140 postage slug. But you know, there could be $60+ in tolls plus $40 in fuel plus vehicle wear & tear. I might still buy it.

Junking my Tiki. Well its a decision I don't regret. While towing the starboard hull the bow broke out of it, so as i suspected the hull integrity is dodgy. I could sell it, but someone might drown! But, its not burning well and its still tough watching a dream (and money spent) smoulder away in a paddock. On the plus side, the yard space is better, I don't have to feel guilt every time I see it and I set out this morning getting set to "move on", and I've certainly begun that.

Get gas bottle refilled. Whenever I take it to the "service station" the old do am anxious sidestep acringvreally prickly. Today was no exception, I thought once I'd paid for it they'd be locked in. But no, "come back tomorrow [somebody that's not me] will fill it". I've been thinking it's laziness, or that they don't like the smell, but I think its that their generation see it as a  gendered job which is f@#$%ed because the other women that do the job are of similar vintage.

Yesterday I had to retrieve a goat in season from a neighbour's. Today, she's tethered a.d making a god awful racket.

Tomorrow we might get 100mm of rain.

So I'm feeling a bit like its been a shitty day.
