avoid planning

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 
                              Jeremiah 29:11
As usual I am drawn to plan ahead & dream a lottle. Unfortunately with my little mind these two get confused & intertwined. The plan is then likely to drift into dreamland or worse, the plan becomes so  convoluted that starting, continuing or finishing the work is hard or impossible to achieve. 
Yet, we learn. As I get older & more contented with my life I do trust, leave it to God or the Fates or even Chance, that if I keep my intentions true & work steadily, that needs will be met. I do know that planning can be akin to worry & achieves very little beyond stress, overeating & lack of sleep. 
So, take time each day to stop,  & cut the inertia of busy-ness before resuming tour work. Also, I would continually weed out invasive thoughts of expectations & standards that are sought to be imposed by mass media or so called friends. Be comfortable to walk your own walk, & should a door close on your path turn away & move forward or if you need, take a step back, kick that door & knock it down.

a skin thing?

As a surfer from my childhood years I escalated to surfing most days. If i wasn't surfing I was just going on or out of the surf, or at school or in latter yesrs work. Some school days would see me run home from the beach dripping wet, stuff cereal down & jog to school. At lunch break I would grab a bike & get a surf in.  On my twenties i took up sailing. If I wasn't actually sailing I would be working on my boat getting things ready. I spent two enjoyable winters on the tropical north.  In later life, I've mowed lawns for an income & continued to swim & sail when I can.  As old surfers know, there's a toll on your skin. On the day a gunman nicked ex president Trump's ear the world politcians decried violence as evil, undemocratic & so on, more than 39 people were killed in Palestine. These events highlight mass hypocrisy across the world with regards violence & race.  No one in the media industry will ever mention this hypocrisy.
