privileged parasites

A small trigger event. 

My motorbike is moved to allow a privileged fuck to sort his boat out.

It wasn't a big boat, it was more the arrogant poncing about by the privileged fuck, that rubbed me up. 

I didn't really take umbrage that much, i just wrote him & his privileged sprigs, as well meaning rich fucks

 That was until I listened to 

 Today's episode focused on a book by Clive Hamilton "The Privileged Few" a summary below:-

Hamilton describes an elite class that is bred within private schools. He details how these children of extreme wealth are groomed & conditioned by being told they are "special" & above average humans. Hamilton cites cases that have come to light of challenger hunts of some sort where students are set challenges such as "pissing on a homeless person" & "having sexual intercourse with a girl under 16 years of age". As Hamilton says, these behaviours are based on a belief that the elite are rightly able to exploit & demean the lower classes. The regular discovery of such vile acts are not " one off" events, but reflect a culture that is developed within the private schools. 

Hamilton and co. interviewed Australians about privilege & many were able to articulate how these peoples' collective physical demeanour was one of arrogance & easy flowing elitism. 

He cites how during Covid shutdowns, when schools in western Sydney, students were regulated against attending school or leaving their homes, while students of at least one elite school were able to attend sporting & outdoors education camps at remote "bush" facilities.  

As Hamilton says, Amy whiff of public criticism is quickly dealt with by respective schools"' PR teams.

Further, that while the elite private schools receive lesser direct government funding per capita, though every dollar is a blow, they receive much more funding indirectly through tax concessions. For example, a $50m library on the shores of Sydney harbour is funded by private donors, who in turn are compensated by over50% of their donation, from the public purse. That is, the elite facilities are funded from the public purse. 

I doubt they will lose any beauty sleep over the double. standards. Fucks.
