Mia & A Hydatid Worm

After recovering from surgery to remove a cyst on her lung, Mia has learned that it was a Hydatid Cyst. She already knew it was the size of a "small melon" and had been hopingcit was not this variety of cyst. 

To know that somehow a worm egg entered your body after having been through a dog, do go or fox that had eaten the infected remains of a kangaroo, cow or goat, is gross. But there you have it. 

 Tomorrow she will return to hospital for "further testing" and antibiotics. The government provide poor public transport access to the hospital, so this will come at significant financial burden. But the good news is, the cause of the cyst is a known entity.
