Sunday 12 October: Ganso to Molinaseca (30k)

Off @ 6am. Getting light at RABANAL where I stopped for American cafe & toast, butter & jam.

FONCABADON got groceries from a modernised alpine village.
CRUZ DE FERRO ahead & uphill we hauled. I felt great & powered past many strugglers.
At the. Cruz I left my rock & invited Andrew to "keep shining'. Reframing as a positive loss was liberating

Above EL ACEBO I stowed a ham, tomato & cheese, listening to a large group of Aussie couples revisiting the trail, physical impacts, beer & whether the trail passed through El Acebo . I felt relieved not to be in such a swamp.
The downhill to MOLLINASECA was treacherous & fatiguing. The good news is that we are now a little 220k to go, & that after a brief rest, my knees felt painless. I was reminded I'd read somewhere that this section rivalled the first day in difficulty.
OVERALL on the Camino Frances I have a snick over 200k to go & have completed about 75% of The Way.

* Day 1 over the Pyrenees & today's descent are statistically the most dangerous sections of the Camino.

LOST ITEMS TODAY: my glasses & a small stone but that was intentional.
