home again; musings
Bikepacking:
Here on the Camino I reflect, at least once a day, how a bike would be a great way to travel the Camino. Yesterday alone, from Cruz de Ferro I risked blowing my knees out as i watched too many cyclists literally whizz by without pedalling for 10 or more kilometres.
At home, with bivvy & gas stove in two bags, possibly a pack for food, & travelling fly rod, I could be cycling loops from Dungog & ultimately the Barrington traverse.
Only summer temperatures will determine a timeframe.
Coastal Sailing:
Of course I would love to get Clancy offshore. Unfortunately, the state of the driveway, & less dramatically, the need to fit the autohelm, will determine timeframes.
But, I have 24x7 to get these jobs done.
Boxing Day off Sydney Heads is a definite goal.
