Day 1 v late, saw arrow so walked.

Day off track, leso cafe, highways too far inland, freeways, thorns, scuttle 8 lanes. Before SS got worse, truckire Paul got me to donnostorio . lovely archi, ppl, but too much. Accomm not Caminoey, but pilgrims Milo NCa x USA, Lin x Denmark. Amazed me getting lost, but they didn't c g'loop etc. 

Love ferral Camino, vs hotels, evening meals, "suburban" shit.  

Fri 19/9..hit promenade at San Seb to see BoB up close 1st time . sea mist, boats moored island on bay. Copper sandals, fitness. Swimming, bch chsors eyc. Wrong turn to W. Quick on after. Up over head & big slog  around headlands over the sea.. Rocky erodrd, Fr pilgrim looked shot early. Took up with

at orio. Little town bridge. Met max walked Paris SdC, finis, Portugal, ptimitivo, now returning yo Biarritz, final few days. Body exhausted. 

After met German aero eng . doddery, 

At Zaur no accomm. Musiko €70. Other full. Swim icecream feeling get. Hot, humid, lots of arduous climbs.

Behan leaving heard church bells so went to church. Rosary with women then mass. I attdned communion. Freaky relics, displays, one in black robes, swords behind shoulders, another, corpse on robes. Classic old church. 

Decided then to abandon norte and hit Frances. Quick to board €7 bus with mad woman driver to donostio. Asked directions, at first no understand. Then she gives v clear info in good english. Made way via bus depot all services full till am. Tried Renfre and got a 7am ticket yo Pam. for less than €10, express, 3 hr. Guy says, no trains overnight, anywhere on Spain. Returned to town, event at cathedral, paid event, professional choir  light show. Sat out - ate tuna on wml baguette. Tuna here, in oil is less smelly.

Storm coming, do ret to bus depot, heaps of guys mustering, slerponh rough. Guy
